Professional qualifications matched to the work
Our professional capability includes CSP, CHST, OHST and CIH credentials. These are credentials held by practitioners; the skills assigned to your engagement depend on the work involved.
- CSP — Certified Safety Professional: professional safety practice.
- CHST — Construction Health and Safety Technician: construction safety practice.
- OHST — Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician: technical workplace safety and hygiene practice.
- CIH — Certified Industrial Hygienist: professional industrial hygiene practice.

Know the difference between credentials and course cards
CSP, CHST and OHST are administered by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. CIH is administered by the Board for Global EHS Credentialing. OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour Outreach courses provide course completion cards; OSHA does not classify those courses as professional certification. Qualifications and training should match the responsibilities of the role.
